Position: Head of the Department of Tourism in Institute of Management, Associate Professor,

Main fields of interests

tourism (in particular: adventure tourism, sport tourism, business tourism and the meeting industry), tourism management, international tourism markets, Knowledge Intensive Business Services, consumer behaviour, experience economy, quality of life.

  • Team member in the project: Steering the meetings industry in Krakow: assessment and monitoring of the economic effect of the meetings industry on the economy of Krakow with the use of good practices from Switzerland, project financed by Switzerland, in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland Valais 2011-2013 (in English);
  • Team member in the project: Analysis of cooperation between business tourism companies and suppliers of selected knowledge intensive business services (KIBS) in Krakow and perspectives for the development of that cooperation, financed by the Polish National Science Centre DEC-2011/01/D/HS4/03983, 2013-2015 (in Polish);
  • Team member in the project: The assessment of innovative orientation of suppliers of highly specialised business services in co-creating events (KIBSE), financed by the Polish National Science Centre DEC-2016/23/B/HS4/03011, 2017-2019 (in Polish);
