His published work includes 16 books more than 80 research papers, and he has contributed as a reviewer and editorial board member to numerous scientific journals, e.g. The Polish Journal of Economic Psychology.
Research interests
His research focuses on linkages and interdependencies between macroeconomics, monetary policy and financial markets.
Additional activity
He has also extensive professional experience gained in senior positions in a range of financial institutions and public administration. He served as the Undersecretary of State in Ministry of Ownership Transformation (1994-1996), Member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Supervisory Board (1994-1995), Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Finance (2002-2003), Member of the Monetary Policy Council (2003-2010).
For his scientific achievements and public activity he has been awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Polish.
