Abstract: | Eco-labelling is one of the important ways of educating consumers about environment-friendly products. The rising popularity thereof over the years must be seen in the context of the benefits it is likely to bring to busi-nesses and consumers alike. Given the above assumptions, the main objectives of the article are to determine the impact of ecolabelling on the achievement of sustainable production and consumption. Reaching the main aim of the study has required the following sub-targets to be met: assessing the significance of ecological rationale in companies’ product decisions, determining consumers’ purchase decisions. |
