Katarzyna Maj-Waśniowska, PhD

PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Finance at the Collage of Economics, Finance and Law at Cracow University of Economics. A researcher in a team undertaking the nodal issue titled “Models for the creation and distribution of public goods and services” in the Regional Excellence Initiative project at the Cracow University of Economics titled “Social and economic consequences of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

She is the author of over forty publications, including books, book chapters as well as publications in national and international journals.

Research interests

Her scientific interests focus on issues concerning mainly the consequences of Industry 4.0 for the education system, public finance, local government finance, education, social assistance, ageing society and demographic changes.

Additional activity

While working at university she had the opportunity to conduct a series of trainings in the performance budget for the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Environment. She also took part in preparing the application as part of Project Power 3.5, and at present she is one of the coordinators implementing the project.
